Emida’s SCP (Service Control Point) is a central process which receives message streams from terminals, partners and web sites, processes the incoming requests, connects with any necessary host or switch and then delivers the appropriate medium – e-pin, activation response, top up balance, etc. Proprietary software allows the Emida networks to operate on a wide variety of terminals including Lipman Nurit, Verifone Tranz, Verifone Omni, Ingenico Elite and PC/Web solutions. The system is based on leading technology and provides a set of .NET application program interfaces (APIs) for host-to-host integration. The network and server hardware is located at the platinum-level data center at SBC in Irvine, California, with back-up locations in Los Angeles and Miami. The data center offers fully redundant power and internet connectivity and is a class A facility. |
